Please give our mailing lists a try. These allow for even better
all-round communcation for everyone. Mailing lists allow you to send and receive
mail messages to and from a group of subscribers about a common interest.
The following lists have been set up:-
announce@posilists.co.uk
A general service read only announcement list, a must read for all Positive
customers wishing to keep up to date with server issues, upgrades and changes.
This list is very low traffic, limited to essential information only.
To subscribe to this send a mail to announce-subscribe@posilists.co.uk
and follow the instructions in the return e-mail.
gentech@posilists.co.uk
A general list, but of a much more techie nature, suitable for techies, coders
and developers. Smaller technical changes may be discussed in this list. This
list is non-moderated and may have a fairly moderate level of e-mail traffic.
Posting is allowed by any subscriber. Please note this isn't a support channel
for general support queries.
To subscribe to this send a mail to gentech-subscribe@posilists.co.uk
and follow the instructions in the return e-mail.
java@posilists.co.uk
A (mainly technical) list with specific slant towards Java technologies, including
JSP, & servlets. This is a non-moderated list, and any subscriber may post
to all. Again the primary purpose of this list is not to use for support, but
for general discussions about technologies and ways of implementing them etc.
To subscribe to this send a mail to java-subscribe@posilists.co.uk
and follow the instructions in the return e-mail.
chat@posilists.co.uk
A general non-moderated list for Positive customers to chat to each other,
there are no real limitations as to what is relevant or otherwise in this list,
and it is expected that this may be a fairly high traffic list.
To subscribe to this send a mail to chat-subscribe@posilists.co.uk
and follow the instructions in the return e-mail.
Note: some of these are relatively new mailing lists, so initially may not have many postings.
Please do give them a try, and we'll see how they develop and evolve...
